I am married to Glenn Scoggins.  We have 2 girls and 3 boys so we stay on the go ALOT!!!  They are my pride and joy (most days :-) ).  We  are HUGE Alabama Crimson Tide fans --ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!--- . We are members of Wooley Springs Baptist Church. I LOVE watching Alabama football, BRAVES baseball, and scrapbooking (if I ever have time).  My oldest daughter is a sophmore in college while my oldest  stepson is a freshman in college. I also have a stepson in 11th grade at Giles County High School, my youngest daughter is in 10th grade at Ardmore High School, & my youngest stepson is in 7th grade at Bridgeforth.  We also have a 3 year old Dachshund named Chipper who lives inside and doesn't realize he's a dog along with a 6 year old Australian Shepard who stays outside, until it thunders. I am a "Nana" to my daughter's Yorkie named Maggie. You can imagine how WILD our house is most of the time.

Both my mom and my dad attended Johnson Elementary during their school years.

I can’t imagine doing anything else besides teaching. This is my fifth year in 2nd grade.  I taught 11 years in 1st grade and 2 years in 3rd.   My family says I finally learned enough to move ahead.  I still learn something new everyday with the children.

I consider myself very blessed to work with the wonderful faculty and staff here at Johnson Elementary.
